My name is Helene, and after 10 years in international sales development, I created this blog to share my attachement to export growth and cross-country exchanges.
I come from a small town in South of France, where in spite of the attractivity of great local products, exporting overseas is everything but a natural expanding strategy. So out of curiosity, through my Masters’ degree in International Development, I had one target : understanding what makes international sales development so challenging for small businesses, and studying how to overcome these issues.
In this blog, you will find reflections on internationalisation and globalisation in this ever moving world facing great economic, geopolitic and environmental changes. Marketing orientations and consumption trends will often be evaluated here, as we all take part in this evolving society.
There will also be concrete professional tips on strategies and business plans to achieve a successful export development.
Essential themes such as prospection, management, networking and professional development will also be reviewed here, along with geopolitic updates and case studies on export success stories.
I hope you will enjoy reading this blog as much as I do writing it, and that it will somehow contribute to your professional fulfillment.
Please, do not hesitate to leave your thoughts and comments as often as possible, as I wish to make this blog a sharing space where we can exchange our views.
Confucius said “when it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don’t adjust the goals, adjust the actions steps”. This blog is to discuss those steps in order to make export development easier and safer.
